Zero kilometer cosmetics
Zero kilometer cosmetics
At Sonia Olivieri we have long embraced the concept of “ zero-mile cosmetics ” , in fact many of the components used in our products are grown directly by us or sourced in the surrounding area at minimal distances from our laboratory which is located in Montegiorgio, in the province of Fermo, in the Marche region.
In this way we can offer a product with a truly low environmental impact which also enhances the producers of our territory.
Below you will find the list of components with which we make our zero-mile cosmetics .
Calendula - grown in Ponzano di Fermo and Montegiorgio (province of Fermo, Marche)
Horsetail - collected in Esanatoglia (province of Macerata, Marche)
St. John's Wort - collected near Braccano (province of Macerata, Marche)
Olive - grown and processed in Falerone (province of Fermo, Marche)
Rapeseed - grown and processed in Montegiorgio (province of Fermo, Marche)
Grapes - grown and harvested in Carassai (province of Ascoli Piceno, Marche)
Aloe vera - grown and harvested in Montegiorgio (province of Fermo, Marche)
To protect humans and the environment, we have also rethought our packaging with a green perspective.
This new container , made from "green" polyethylene (a renewable, 100% recyclable bio-plastic produced from sugar cane processing ) is replacing all our non-eco-friendly containers.
